IPA Section ITALY requested for aid

I believe that you are all aware by now of the proportions of the great catastrophe occurred in central Italy, that has caused hundreds of deaths, injuries and much damage to homes and to the architectural heritage of our country.
As I write this message, I am moved and I sincerely thank you for the messages of solidarity and affection to our nation, people and our members.
I wish to inform you that the Italian Section, through the National Presidency , has taken some actions to support those people who, in one way or another, have suffered this very serious and dramatic event, which will be hard to forget.
So, on behalf of the Italian Section of the IPA, we have opened a dedicated bank account to raise funds for IPA member, Police Officers and citizens affected by the earthquake.

The IEB has decided to support Section ITALY with:

  • An EMERGENCY AID APPEAL, with an official IPA call for help for financial support, to be circulated to all IPA sections, and
  • IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY AID with direct financial help amounting to € 1.000 from the IEB for the affected Section ITALY.

Sections wishing to provide assistance can send their donations to the Emergency Aid Account of Section ITALY:
